SomaYoga blends Thomas Hanna’s Somatics with therapeutic yoga. It helps us regain control over our muscles and movement patterns, supporting easeful, functional movement. This allows us to move better and more intelligently in our bodies, supporting our yoga postures and breathing practices.

In this series learn about 3 main reflexes that show up in the body, due to stress, repetitive movement, trauma or injury and improve function to support your favourite sports or hobbies in life.

If you are experiencing recurrent pain and tension, lingering problems or a ready to learn a new approach to movement re-education, then this series is for you. Bring awareness to what has been forgotten, change the patterns that perpetuate pain so that you can move through life with more ease.

What you will learn:

How to re-educate your muscles, releasing tension and pain.

That your muscles only listen to your brain.

That your Somatic Nervous System is what holds you in patterns of tension and pain.

How to PANDICULATE versus Stretch.

It’s here. Join Tara Larkin and I for three mini retreats over three months to support a deep dive into what limits you. We will guide you through processes to release old patterns and rediscover the power that resides deep within to move towards what you want in life.

A 3 month program to let go of what limits you and embody what’s next.


Whether you are just getting the first inklings that something needs to shift in life, or you are mid transition to something new and exciting, your brain and body can work against you - holding you back from what you truly desire.

Habits of our body include the ways that we think, beliefs that we hold, and ways we get stuck into habits of movement - these patterns are ingrained in our somatic nervous system.  This can keep us locked in fear and pain, stuck where we no longer want to be. Our brains and bodies become a storehouse of limiting thoughts, beliefs and actions. Often times these thoughts, beliefs and actions are so deeply embedded that they are  unconscious. When this happens we don’t feel like we are in control of ourselves and we don’t understand what is keeping us stuck.

This workshop will be a fun, exploratory learning session with hands on self-care and educational practices - discover and try Naysa Nose Oil, Neti, Abhyanga body massage practices, How to Clean your Tongue to eliminate "ama", ayurvedic tricks on proper elimination and more.
