What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is a customized approach to reducing your pain, improving your mobility, and gaining strength and stability so that you can get back to feeling your best.
- Customized private sessions combining gentle movment and breathing practices specific to your condition.
- Works beyond symptom management to improve how your body parts function relative to each other.
- Hands on approach integrating pressure point and myofascial release techniques as needed.
Together we work to create ease and movement in your body's connective tissue, to help you unravel in ways that shift pain responses and dis-"ease" in your body.

What You Can Expect
Working privately, we will explore your range of motion, functionality and goals at a pace that suits you and build a program appropriate to your current state of health to help you move towards whole health in mind, body and spirit.
Private or semi-private sessions are offered at a private Annex studio located at 861-9th ave Fernie, BC. Call Carrie at 250.423.0833 to make an appointment.
The Approach
The approach that I use is based on the teachings of Susi Hately, kinsiologist, yoga teacher and founder of Functional Synergy. I have completed all the requirements of her Therapeutic Teacher Certification Program.
I am a registered and supportive member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
