Understanding Pain

Pain is merely a sign that there is dysfunction in the body.
Therapeutic yoga works to improve functional movement and your overall body balance. As you practice in a pain-free range of motion, ease increases and pain signals shift and decrease. As that occurs, you will be able to return back to doing the things that are important to you - family, work and fun!
The principle is easy, moving in ease, instead of forcing.
Case study after case study show that more progress and healing can occur by moving in a safe, pain-free range of motion.
Have you been forcing your way through pain? Has it been working?
If not, then why not consider a new approach. What do you have to lose?
Yoga Therapy works on many levels to deeply relax and create space in the body's facial network, reprogram neurology in the body and bring you to a state of openness and awareness where healing occurs. The other key principle of this work is that where pain and discomfort are showing up is not necessarily where we are stuck, so we look at the entire body - the shoulders in relation to spine, the pelvis in relation to the spine and the relationship of how all the parts are moving with respect to each other.
